Julieta Amushelelo speaks about her husband, Michael Amushelelo, who is currently in jail.
Amushelelo was arrested on Namibia's 33rd Independence Day, along with fellow activist Dimbulukeni Nauyoma and PDM lawmaker Inna Hengari. They were apprehended by the Namibian police when they arrived at a gathering of people mobilized to protest against unemployment.
Amushelelo faces various charges, including inciting public violence and causing malicious damage to property.
In the interview with Fresh FM, Michael Amushelelo's wife mentioned something emotional about her marriage since she marriage to Michael Amushelelo.
When she was asked about how long she has been with Michael since they've had tight the knot, she said that they recently marked their two-year anniversary since they tied the knot. However, she also expressed that she hasn't been able to celebrate this occasion or other universal occasions because her husband is consistently in prison.

Regarding Michael Amushelelo's well-being, she mentioned that he is not really doing well and has lost weight.
She also spoke about the treatment he is receiving in prison, describing it as mistreatment. She claimed that there are deliberate delays in his court appearances, which she believes are tactics to prolong his stay in prison.
Regarding a reported stroke that she suffered, she noted that even her husband was concerned about her well-being. She could only communicate with him for a few minutes when it happened, and for three days, he had no information about how his wife was doing. This prompted him to seek financial assistance through the media.
However, when asked if she has considered asking her husband to cease his activism, she revealed that she had attempted to do so in the past when she didn't fully understand his mission. But now, she is convinced that he is on the right path, and she trusts him completely. She is committed to supporting his efforts for the nation.
