Palm Ridge, South Africa – Controversial pastor Paseka 'Mboro' Motsoeneng has been granted bail of R3,000 at the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court this afternoon. The pastor made headlines last month after a video surfaced showing him brandishing a panga in the air at Kathelong Primary School.
According to allegations, Mboro, accompanied by his bodyguard, forcefully entered the school premises. The bodyguard reportedly carried a firearm, while Mboro wielded the panga. The two allegedly removed Mboro’s grandchildren—whom he was restricted from seeing due to a court order—before forcing them into his car and speeding off.
Mboro has denied any wrongdoing, asserting that the firearm in question was merely a replica. Despite the serious nature of the allegations, the court granted bail, citing a lack of sufficient evidence.
