Tragic Head-On Collision Claims Three Lives in Kavango West Region

Accident at Nambi

A head-on collision in Nambi village, located in the Kavango West Region, resulted in the deaths of three individuals and left four others hospitalized early this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Elion Kambinda, the driver of a Chevrolet; Roberth Nekongo, the driver of a Toyota bakkie; and Pius Sindombe, a passenger in the Toyota. Authorities have confirmed that their next of kin have been informed of the tragic incident. 

Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga of the Kavango West police reported that the driver of the Toyota was unlicensed at the time of the crash. 

The four surviving passengers were swiftly transported to Nankudu Hospital for medical treatment, where their conditions are being assessed. 

Police investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
