In a tragic incident today, a resident of Ngonga village, Zambezi Region. John Sakubenya, lost his life in a hit-and-run accident in the vicinity of Namushasha. Authorities reported that Sakubenya was discovered lying on the road with severe head injuries and a fractured right arm, indicating the violent nature of the impact.
Local law enforcement officials believe that a vehicle, which is yet to be identified, struck Sakubenya before fleeing the scene shortly after the incident. Sakubenya succumbed to his injuries.
