The City of Windhoek (CoW) has announced plans to provide a kindergarten, police station, and medical facilities to support victims of the recent flash floods.
Construction at the relocation area in Goreangab is already underway, with contractors working on fencing the designated sites, according to CoW Spokesperson Lydia Amutenya. Additionally, water points are being installed, and improvements to the road network are in progress to ensure better access and infrastructure for the relocated community.
