The Updated World previously shared news about a fire that sadly took the lives of six people in a single room.
The family has now identified those who passed away. Among them were 86-year-old Elizabeth !Naruses and her 17-year-old granddaughter, Finney !Naruses.
The other four victims were all young children: Rachel Boer and Emie Gabriel, both 3 years old, and Raunisia Boer and Ibraha Gabriel, both 6. These children were great-grandchildren of Elizabeth !Naruses.
After police finished their investigation, the family began clearing out the room where the tragedy happened.
They removed the burned bed and mattress where their loved ones lost their lives early Saturday morning.
The family said the scene was heartbreaking, with blood stains still visible on the bedding and in different parts of the room.
