KK Palace Duo Hambongo and Kelvin Head to Zimbabwean Club Scottland FC

Namibian winger Elias Hambongo and Nigerian defender Akper Kelvin have travelled to Zimbabwe, where they are expected to complete moves to Scottland FC following impressive spells with KK Palace, Footy Namibia reported.
Hambongo, 27, has established himself as one of Namibia’s experienced attacking players, while the 22-year-old Kelvin has earned recognition for his solid defensive performances. Their departures come after both players played key roles in KK Palace’s successful 2025/26 campaign.
The pair helped the King Kauluma Palace outfit secure a top-five finish in the Namibia Premier Football League and reach the final of the 2026 NFA Cup. However, the club fell short in the final, finishing as runners-up after losing to UNAM FC.
Scottland FC has been actively strengthening its squad ahead of the new season and has recently been linked with several players from across Southern Africa, including Namibia and South Africa. Among the names previously associated with the Zimbabwean club is Namibian international Peter Shalulile.
Should the transfers be completed, Hambongo and Kelvin will become the latest players to continue their careers outside Namibia, marking another step forward in their professional development while boosting Namibian representation in regional football.
