Police Report

A 22-year-old man, accused of deceiving a 49-year-old Outjo resident out of N$21,000, walked free today after being held in custody over the weekend. He had been detained at the Katima Mulilo holding cells following his arrest last week.

The case, confirmed by Chief Inspector Charles Mayumbelo, was expected to be heard before Magistrate Davy Kambinda, known for his firm stance on criminal matters, on Monday.
