According to information from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a list dated November 2024 includes 1.4 million individuals facing final removal orders, among them 19 Namibian nationals. These individuals are reportedly scheduled for deportation in the coming days.
Since President Trump assumed office eight days ago, federal agencies with expanded detention powers have conducted raids in several cities, including Chicago, Newark, and Miami. These actions align with Trump’s campaign promise to implement mass deportations of undocumented immigrants.
In a related development, Tom Homan, the incoming “border tsar,” has announced plans for nationwide raids targeting illegal immigrants.
