
WINDHOEK – A tragic car accident on Saturday night has claimed the life of a 21-year-old man on the C28 gravel road near Baumgartz-Brunn Primary School.
The victim, identified by the Namibian Police as Densel Gereseb, was one of six people traveling in a white single cab vehicle when the driver reportedly lost control, causing the car to overturn.
The crash left five other occupants injured, including two young children, aged three and four, who were rushed to Katutura Hospital with moderate injuries. Their mother, who was also in the vehicle, remains unresponsive and is currently admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Catholic Hospital.
The police confirmed that Gereseb’s next of kin have been notified, and investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
