ONDANGWA – Tragedy struck on the evening of Monday, January 6, 2025, when a man reportedly took his own life by jumping off a Telecom network tower near the Ondangwa Police Station. The incident occurred at approximately 20:27, according to the Oshana regional police.
The deceased, identified as David Lugambo Ndakoko, a 32-year-old Namibian man from Oluno, Ondangwa, was pronounced dead at the scene.
In their preliminary report, the police confirmed that no foul play is suspected, stating that the incident appears to be a case of suicide. Authorities have notified the next of kin and extended their condolences to the grieving family.
