The All People’s Party (APP) has voiced concern about what it describes as an uneven playing field in the media landscape, saying its activities and events are often overlooked by local media outlets.
During a recent address delivered on behalf of APP President Ambrosius Kumbwa by party member Patrick Kashera, the party argued that limited media exposure prevents Namibians from accessing balanced political information. They stressed that democracy can only thrive when all political formations are granted equal visibility and opportunities to share their views.
Beyond issues of media representation, the APP further accused the ruling SWAPO party of contributing to persistent poverty in the Kavango regions, saying the government has failed to effectively address the socio-economic challenges faced by communities there.
