A 31-year-old woman lost her life in a brutal domestic violence incident after she was allegedly hacked with a panga by her boyfriend on Sunday.
Oshana NamPol deputy commissioner Fredrick Ndjadila confirmed the tragedy, saying the attack occurred at Epanya village and was witnessed by the victim’s four-year-old son.
“The suspect allegedly used a panga to kill the victim. Sadly, this happened in the presence of her minor child,” Ndjadila said.
Authorities have since launched a manhunt for the suspect, who fled the scene after the incident. Police have appealed to members of the public to assist with information that could lead to his arrest.
