Prominent businesswoman and philanthropist Stina Wu has expressed heartfelt appreciation for one of Namibia’s liberation heroes, Major General (Rtd) Charles Namoloh, during a courtesy visit shared on her Facebook page.
In her post, Wu recounted visiting General Namoloh alongside Lt. Gen (Rtd) Sebastian Ndeitunga, Ms. Valerie Aron, and youth leaders from the Stina Youth Growth Foundation. She described the visit as a gesture of care and gratitude toward those who devoted their lives to Namibia’s freedom and peace.
Wu said the moment was deeply emotional, noting that General Namoloh shed tears during their interaction. “We were reminded that kindness and presence mean more than words can ever express,” she wrote.
She emphasized the importance of acknowledging the nation’s heroes while they are still alive, urging Namibians—particularly the youth—to continue honoring and learning from veterans who contributed to Namibia’s liberation.
“It is our collective responsibility to honour and support our heroes and veterans, not only in times of need but throughout their lives,” Wu stated. She encouraged young people to carry forward the legacy of service, discipline, and unity embodied by Namibia’s freedom fighters.
