Businesswoman Stina Wu Donates Food Parcels to 300 Vulnerable Families

In a heartwarming act of community support, Rundu-based businesswoman Stina Wu donated food parcels to 300 vulnerable families on Thursday afternoon.

The donation, made in collaboration with the office of Kavango East Regional Governor Julius Hambyuka, included essential food items such as 5kg of maize meal, 2kg of sugar, and 500ml of cooking oil per parcel. The total value of the contribution is estimated at N$41,000.

Governor Hambyuka facilitated the handover, commending Wu’s consistent efforts to uplift the less fortunate in the region. The families, many of whom face economic hardship, expressed deep appreciation for the support, noting that the food parcels would go a long way in easing their daily struggles.

“This kind gesture could not have come at a better time,” said one of the recipients. “We are truly grateful for the help.”

Stina Wu, a well-known philanthropist and business figure in the region, has previously supported similar initiatives aimed at assisting the elderly, orphans, and low-income households.
