Residents of the Onguta informal settlement in Ondangwa are in shock after the bell of a local church, valued at N$25,000, was stolen between Monday and Tuesday this week.
According to police reports, investigators who visited the scene found no footprints or fingerprints, making it difficult to trace the suspects. The bell was mounted on wooden poles, from which it was carefully removed.
Community members are urged to assist the police with any information that could help recover the stolen bell or identify those responsible.
Let’s stand together to protect our places of worship and report any suspicious activities in our communities.
