Elizabeth Isai shine in United Arab Emirates


Elizabeth Isai

Elizabeth Isai, a student chef studying at the University of Namibia (Unam), achieved a silver medal in the esteemed Global Chefs Challenge.

This highly competitive event took place in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), spanning from the 29th to the 30th of May. In preparation for the competition, Isai dedicated herself to rigorous practice sessions under the guidance of her mentor, Ralph Hergott.

The Namibian Chefs Association played a pivotal role in supporting Isai and enabling her journey to the UAE.

The aspiring chef expressed her satisfaction with the competition, affirming that everything went according to plan, allowing her to flawlessly present all her courses. 

Isai enthusiastically described the entire experience as truly remarkable.
