Police in Ondangwa have launched an investigation after more than N$12 000 went missing from the Omwandi Service Station early Friday morning.
According to the police incident report, the theft occurred at around 05h38, when an employee allegedly took the money, which had been temporarily placed on top of the safe. The incident was captured on the station’s CCTV cameras.
A case of theft from an employer has been registered, but no arrest has been made, and the stolen money has not yet been recovered.
Police say investigations are ongoing as they work to trace the suspect and determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
