A dramatic pursuit in Rocky Crest ended with the arrest of four suspected robbers earlier today after their getaway vehicle overturned while fleeing from City Police.
Eyewitnesses reported that the suspects, driving a Nissan Note, were attempting to escape when residents intervened and immediately alerted law enforcement. City Police officers patrolling nearby responded quickly, apprehending all four suspects at the scene.
Police discovered several items in the vehicle, including multiple number plates, knives, and screwdrivers, which authorities believe were linked to previous criminal incidents in Windhoek.
City Police Sergeant Kavekotoka Humvindu praised the local community for their vigilance, emphasizing that public cooperation plays a critical role in curbing criminal activity.
The four suspects are expected to appear in court once the investigation is concluded.
