There are thousands of great opportunities laid bare in front of you every day but all are killed by one of these excuses, “I don’t have enough capital to start a business”, if so, here is how to start a home business in Namibia with just N$300.00

A home-based business in Namibia increased gradually in recent years, if you haven’t yet tried a home-based business in Namibia, this year is your time, get started right away, and choose a product and service that is profitable. I have written one article where I share the best 5 home-based businesses you can run this year.

How to start a home business in Namibia with just N$300.00?

1. Find a Place

2. Choose a product/service

3. Find a Supplier

1. Place: Don’t worry about where you can locate your business, there is a big space for your business, just get a custom domain at Bluehost.

Bluehost is the cheapest and best host on the planet.

Your place is your device and internet. Since you don’t have enough money, once you are done purchasing your domain, go to Freestore or Blogspot to create a website for free and it’s easy to create.

There are good platforms for online stores but remember that you just have N$300, that’s why I can recommend for you Blogspot or Freestore. I was using Wix before but I left it because I didn’t make enough since I have to pay them monthly.

Now, one may ask questions like, how can I sell on Blogspot? Don’t worry just keep on reading.

Once your blog is up, head to Ecwid, and create an account by the following instructions. Ecwid is a platform that will allow you to sell products on different platforms through embedded files. As a beginner, you can start with the free vision, where you will be allowed to sell up to 10 products. Learn more here.

If you are done signing up with Ecwid, customize your store, and embed it on your Blogspot using your domain.

With Freestore, you can just sign up with them, and choose the plan that suits you, I recommend you to start with the community plan because it is 100% free and you can sell unlimited products but before you allow your customer to check out your products, you need at least $10.00 in your credit account.

I think it’s best if you go for Blogspot and Ecwid.

2. Choose a Product/service: You now have a place and store, what do you want to sell? Hunt for products that are trending, throw as many questions as you want on Google, participate in a forum like Quora, and read more articles on the internet to get more ideas.

You don’t have to focus on what you will sell in your country alone, look for products you will sell worldwide.

Once you get one, it’s time to start a business.

3. Get a supplier: There are thousands of trustworthy companies which you can approach. Remember that you need to offer a high quantity of products and quality products to make suitable earnings. Why not take advantage of Alibaba.com?

At Alibaba.com you will find the batch of products that you want to sell, the best thing is that you will get them at cheap prices.

Talk to suppliers, tell them you will order only after getting a customer, look for the shipment that can allow you to ship a single product, and this can be done only through communication with the supplier.

Once, you succeed in getting a supplier, you can download their product images upload them to your Ecwid store, price them on your price and look for customers.

I don’t like to tell people that this is free business because to make money out of it, you need to work very hard and you need internet, and you need at least N$300 to buy a domain and upgrade some of your plans if you want it to look professional.

If you want to avoid selling online, you are about to give other opportunities to reach more customers, selling online is the main channel nowadays, so it’s best to get started.
