Affirmative Repositioning (AR) President Job Amupanda has provided an update on his health following a surgical procedure in South Africa last month. Taking to social media, Amupanda thanked his supporters for their well-wishes and reassured Namibians that he is preparing to return to active political engagement.
In a heartfelt message, Amupanda wrote:
“People of Namibia 🇳🇦 and the World 🌎, I am up and about, at about 90% recovery. We have received your prayers, well-wishes, and messages of support during our difficult time since the surgery. Thank you all.
I am getting ready to return and continue fighting for you and our people. I am indeed getting ready to join Namibians on the campaign trail, particularly AR activists who are campaigning and preparing to represent you in various towns and constituencies.
As we fight for our people in Parliament, there must also be others fighting for you in town councils and constituencies. We need to continue fighting for our people. See you soon!”
Prior to his surgery, Amupanda made headlines during the last parliamentary session with a pointed question regarding the National Youth Development Fund, vowing to expose systemic loopholes.
Following his recovery, he urged his supporters to focus on the upcoming national elections scheduled for 26 November, emphasizing the importance of continued activism and civic engagement.
