Knowledge Katti Donates N$1 Million to Kombat Mine Employees

Knowledge Katti

Philanthropist and entrepreneur Knowledge Katti, a shareholder in Kombat Mine, has fulfilled his promise of gifting N$1 million to the mine’s employees as a Christmas gesture. This pledge, made on his birthday, November 21, comes with the condition that the funds be equally distributed among all employees.

In his announcement, Katti emphasized that the donation is aimed at uplifting the children within the Kombat community. He underscored the importance of ensuring that the funds remain within the community, discouraging expenditure in towns such as Walvis Bay or Windhoek, to ensure direct and impactful benefits for Kombat residents.

“This is for the children of Kombat. I want it to make a difference here in the community,” Katti said in his heartfelt message.

He also disclose that he donate 10% of the mine to the community of Kombat.

“I donate 10% of this mine to the community of Kombat. I’ve registered the Kombat Community Trust to drive the objectives of community development,” he told Namibian Sun.

Katti also highlighted that this initiative forms part of a broader poverty reduction strategy spearheaded by the Kombat Community Trust.
