Lawrence Ndumba well known as Laurence from Rundu, Kaisosi, release his first gospel album titled “The World is No More”.

Music is one of the best ways to reach more people if you want to share the message in the communities. Lawrence took the same path, by using his golden voice he believes that it was a blessing from God.

Despite struggling with finance, Lawrence release his new album called The World is no more. The album carries eleven songs with a powerful message, that you need to hear.

The 24 years old gospel singer said that he struggled with finance to release the album but because he wants to share the message and goodness of God with people, he refused to give up and he wants to use his voice as the channel to reach more people who will be listening to his songs.

Talking to KHUW about how he gets started his music career, Lawrence reveals that he was inspired by his idle Hendrick Mzimande.

“I was inspired by the Namibian gospel singer Hendrick Mzimande, I like listening to his songs always, I can listen to his songs throughout the night and sing after his songs.

Singing along to his songs makes me fall in love with singing”, Lawrence told KHUW.

Lawrence works in the Oceano shop, and the small salary he gets at the end of the month he uses to finance his projects.

Talking about his album titled, “The World is No More”

Lawrence said that he wants to remind people that the world is no longer the same, violent and lawless deed among people is becoming higher every day.

“It’s a reminder to people that the end of the world is near, it’s time to follow Jesus, and he is the only way out”, said, Lawrence

He also opens up about how he manages his new music career and his job.

The 24 years singer said that he faces a tough time, as he only gets time on Saturday, and he is always busy at work, but that didn’t stop him because he has a vision and mission.

“I only get time on Saturday, to do everything. I recorded and also went to church to practice with the choir only on Saturday. It’s tough but I have no choice”, Said Lawrence
