
The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) in the Khomas Region has reported an incident of malicious damage to state property, which occurred at the Otjomuise Police Station over the weekend.
According to an official statement released by NamPol today, a suspect allegedly caused extensive damage to state-owned infrastructure within the station’s holding cells without any provocation. The damaged items include iron stairs, a burglar bar door, a cell door, and a metal detector.
At this stage, the total value of the damaged property has not been determined. NamPol has confirmed that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
