
A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a woman whose half-naked body was discovered in a riverbed in Usakos on Friday, 14 November 2025.
Erongo police spokesperson, Senior Inspector Judith Shomongula, confirmed this morning that the suspect, a 39-year-old Namibian male—was taken into custody yesterday after investigators questioned three individuals.
He is expected to appear in the Usakos Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 17 November 2025, where he will face a charge of murder. The other two suspects were released following police interviews.
The victim has been identified as 43-year-old Imolatria Dominika Gaoses. According to police, her body was found half-naked and bearing multiple stab wounds.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
