
Oshikoto, Namibia – A 34-year-old man from Oluundje village lost his life after allegedly trying to break into a bar but got stuck in the window iron bars.
The man, identified as Matheus Kakeyongo, was found dead, hanging from the window of a shebeen at Epalela cucashops in Onyaanya village. Schoolchildren passing by discovered his body on Thursday morning.
According to the Oshikoto police, it is believed that Kakeyongo was attempting to enter the bar through the window but got trapped and could not escape.
“The deceased was allegedly trying to break in but got stuck between the window grills,” the police report stated.
Police are still investigating the incident to understand exactly what happened. They have also urged the public to stay away from crime and report any suspicious activities.
