Rundu, Kavango East – Authorities in Rundu are investigating the tragic death of a 43-year-old man, Ndara Nestor, whose body was discovered early this morning with stab wounds to the neck. The incident occurred near his brother’s toilet yard, raising concerns about safety in the area.
Crime Investigations Coordinator Bonifatius Kanyetu confirmed the discovery, noting that despite the violent nature of Nestor’s death, none of his belongings were taken, ruling out robbery as a possible motive.
According to initial reports, Nestor was last seen alive around 3:00 AM at Etameko Bar, where he was socializing with three friends. It remains unclear what transpired after he left the establishment or who may have been involved in the fatal attack.
At this stage, no arrests have been made, and authorities continue to gather evidence and speak with potential witnesses.
Nestor’s family has been notified of his passing as police urge anyone with relevant information to come forward to aid the investigation.
