
A 29-year-old man from Seeis tragically took his own life in the early hours of Friday morning following a minor quarrel with a colleague over a cigarette.
According to the Namibian Police, the man reportedly used his belt to hang himself from a tree near a local lodge. His body was discovered around 02:00 and the incident was officially reported to the authorities at about 07:00.
Police investigations at the scene found no signs of foul play, and the matter has been registered as a case of suicide.
