Why did Jameela choose the Oryx as the inspiration for her National Costume? She revealed that after losing her mother last year, she had to learn to be resilient and believe in herself. The Oryx, with its ability to thrive in the unforgiving desert, mirrors her own journey of resilience and self-belief. It’s a heartfelt choice that reflects her personal growth and strength, she told NBC.
