The Namibian Correctional Service (NCS) has announced plans to recruit 200 young individuals, aged between 19 and 35, to join its ranks. The successful candidates will undergo an intensive nine-month training program.
Applications for this opportunity are available at government offices, with the submission deadline set for 23 January 2025. To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Achieve a minimum of 25 points in six subjects, including an E-symbol in English, for both Grade 11 and 12.
- Be willing to undergo a thorough background check.
- Pass a medical examination.
The NCS has stated that preference will be given to candidates holding Bachelor’s Degrees or equivalent qualifications.
This recruitment drive is part of the NCS’s efforts to enhance its workforce with skilled and capable individuals committed to upholding correctional standards in Namibia.
