Namibian Football 2025/26 Season Kicks Off 24 October 2025

Namibian Football 2025/26 Season Kicks Off 24 October 2025

The Namibian football calendar is set to officially kick off on Friday, 24 October 2025, marking the start of a new season under the guidance of the Namibian Football Association (NFA).

According to a statement issued by Interim General Secretary Cassius T. Moetie on behalf of the NFA Executive Committee, all member clubs will continue to receive the same level of financial support provided during the 2024/25 season.

The Association has called on all members to submit financial reports and membership renewals by 10 October, and to ensure that every player and official is fully registered on the FIFA E-Connect system before the season begins. Clubs are further required to submit their fixture lists and venue details by 9 October and comply with FIFA and CAF club licensing regulations.

The NFA stressed the importance of meeting these deadlines, warning that non-compliance could result in sanctions, suspension of financial assistance, or disqualification from official competitions.

Although no new sponsorship announcement was made, the upcoming season follows the government’s N$10 million pledge to support the NFA in resuming league activities, after Debmarine Namibia decided not to renew its sponsorship deal that ran for three years.
