Honourable Gerhard Shiimi retains his position on the Committee on Rural Economy, Agriculture, Natural Resources & Environment, continuing his work in key areas that impact Namibia’s rural and agricultural sectors.
The newly appointed Honourable Phillipus Katamelo joins the Committee on Cooperation, International Relations & Conflict Resolution, a platform critical for shaping Africa’s diplomatic and peace-building agenda.
Honourable Uahekua Herunga has been designated to the Committee on Education, Culture, Tourism & Human Resources, where he is expected to contribute to the continent’s social development priorities.
Meanwhile, Honourable Anseline Beukes will serve on the Committee on Gender, Family, Youth & People with Disabilities, an essential platform advocating for inclusivity and social equity.
Honourable Rodney Cloete takes up a strategic role on the Committee on Trade, Customs & Immigration Matters, aligning with efforts to strengthen Africa’s economic integration and border cooperation.
These assignments mark a significant step in Namibia’s contribution to the Pan-African Parliament’s legislative and advisory work, aimed at uniting African voices and addressing cross-border challenges.
