In a heartfelt display of unity and compassion, members of the National Council, along with staff, came together on Tuesday for a special prayer gathering in support of Chairperson Hon. Lukas Sinombo Muha and two fellow councillors who are mourning the loss of close family members.

The emotional session was convened following the untimely death of Mrs. Margaret Wayera Muha, the cherished spouse of Hon. Muha, who tragically passed away in a car accident roughly 20 kilometres from Rundu the previous week.

Organized by the Council’s Wellness Committee, the service was presided over by Vice Chairperson Hon. Victoria Kauma. Attendees offered uplifting hymns, solemn prayers, and messages of encouragement, creating a spirit of togetherness during this time of sorrow.

In her remarks, Hon. Kauma emphasized the importance of collective support during periods of grief, stating, “In times like these, we must stand as one family offering comfort, strength, and hope to one another.”

The National Council extended its condolences to the affected members and reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a compassionate and supportive workplace.
