The National Democratic Party (NDP) has welcomed 700 new members into its ranks during a meeting held on Sunday at Katima Mulilo in the Zambezi Region.
NDP National Coordinator, Prince Musweu, said the event was organised not only to receive new members but also to introduce the party’s district coordinators and present its candidates for the upcoming regional and local authority elections.

The gathering also marked the party’s first official meeting with NDP president Martin Lukato, who took up his seat in the National Assembly in March this year. Members used the occasion to reaffirm their commitment to strengthening the party’s presence across Namibia.
