The Ondangwa Magistrate’s Court has remanded in custody a 33-year-old man accused of murdering his two children at Onkani village over the weekend.
The suspect, identified as Thomas Sheya, made his first appearance on Monday morning, where he was formally charged with two counts of murder. His request for bail was rejected, and he has since applied for State-funded legal aid.
It is believed that Thomas Sheya broke the children’s necks before texting the family to come and collect their bodies.
