One Dead, One Missing After Late-Night Crash Near Otjiwarongo

A serious accident has just occurred tonight about 50 kilometres from Otjiwarongo on the road to Okahandja, leaving one person dead and another still missing.

According to information from the scene, a double-cab bakkie overturned after the driver swerved to avoid a large 200-litre drum that was lying in the middle of the road, believed to have fallen from another vehicle.

The sudden manoeuvre caused the bakkie to lose control and roll several times.
