Police in the Otjozondjupa region are investigating a case of malicious damage to property after a woman allegedly destroyed several items belonging to her former boyfriend during a heated outburst.
According to the police, the incident occurred at a house in the Ombili location of Otjiwarongo, where the man was spending time with his new girlfriend. The ex-girlfriend reportedly arrived unannounced, forced her way into the room, and began destroying household items in a fit of anger.
Among the damaged property were a Samsung DVD player, a music box, and a mirror. The total value of the destroyed items is estimated at around N$3,000.
Police confirmed that the suspect, who is known to the complainant, has not yet been taken into custody. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
