PDK Wins Bank Windhoek’s “For the Sake of Love” Remix Competition

Following months of spirited participation and 612 submissions from across Namibia, PDK has emerged as the winner of Bank Windhoek’s highly anticipated “For the Sake of Love” Brand Song Remix Competition.

The award-winning duo captured the top spot with a remix that impressed both the general public and an AI-powered judging system designed to ensure fairness and transparency in the selection process. Their version of the theme song combined musical excellence with emotional resonance, securing them the grand prize of N$70,000.

Taking second place and the N$50,000 prize was Miss Gideon, whose performance gained strong traction online. Her remix stood out for its heartfelt delivery and wide audience appeal.

Cuzzy secured third place and N$30,000, winning over listeners with her energetic and imaginative interpretation of the track.

Rounding out the Top 10 finalists are:

  • Elizabeth and Sanet
  • LUA
  • Teqla
  • James Omlungo
  • Buschlacci
  • Raysheli

The competition part of Bank Windhoek’s broader commitment to creative arts and youth engagement—has showcased the depth of musical talent within Namibia. With over 600 participants, the For the Sake of Love remix challenge is one of the largest national music initiatives of its kind in recent years.

Bank Windhoek has lauded all participants for their contributions, emphasizing the importance of platforms that allow Namibian artists to share their voice and expand their reach.
