President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has reiterated her administration’s firm commitment to fighting corruption, urging all Namibians to actively support the government’s “Zero Tolerance for Corruption” agenda.
Speaking on Saturday, President Nandi-Ndaitwah emphasized that corruption has no place in Namibia’s institutions or society. However, she stressed that meaningful progress in tackling the scourge can only be made if citizens, particularly victims of corruption, come forward with information and evidence.
“We cannot root out corruption unless those affected are willing to speak out,” she said. “Our fight is only as strong as the people’s willingness to hold wrongdoers accountable.”
The President called on traditional leaders and members of the public to become key players in the 8th Administration’s anti-corruption efforts. She noted that all Cabinet members are under strict instruction to serve the public with integrity, transparency, and urgency.
“We have all sworn an oath to uphold and protect the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Namibia,” she stated.
