The internationally acclaimed Real Madrid Foundation Football Clinics officially kicked off today in Nkurenkuru, Kavango West Region, offering world-class football training and essential life skills to local learners and educators. The programme will run from 26 to 30 May 2025.

Now in its third consecutive year in Namibia, the initiative is made possible through the continued support of Cadilu Fishing, in collaboration with the Namibia Schools Sport Union and the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sport, Arts and Culture. The Embassy of Spain is also instrumental in facilitating the programme.

Throughout the week, learners in Kavango West will receive expert coaching from professionals affiliated with the Real Madrid Foundation, working closely with local coaches. The clinics are designed to go beyond athletic training, placing a strong emphasis on values such as discipline, teamwork, and respect — principles at the heart of the Foundation’s philosophy.
