Bank Windhoek has launched an exciting Remix Competition titled “For the Sake of Love” aimed at empowering Namibian artists and promoting local talent. The competition gives musicians a chance to win big, with the first-place prize set at N$70,000. Second and third place winners will take home N$50,000 and N$30,000, respectively.

What makes this competition unique is that it’s completely public-driven. Winners will be chosen based on real views and engagement on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. This ensures a fair and open platform where every artist, no matter how popular, has an equal opportunity to shine.

Some of the country’s top artists have already joined the challenge. These include M-GEE, Kachazi, Miss Gideon, Cazzy, TopCheri, Stella, Teqla, James Omlongo, Ian Lovly, Oteya, and Jericho.

Bank Windhoek says the competition is open to all Namibian artists, regardless of their background or level of experience. Entries will be judged on the quality, creativity, and musical composition of the remix, but the final results depend on public support.

Fans are encouraged to participate by watching, liking, and sharing their favorite remixes. The more genuine engagement an artist receives, the better their chances of winning. However, any attempt to cheat such as using fake views or bots will lead to immediate disqualification.

The competition will conclude with the official announcement of winners on Wednesday, 30 April. More details about the final event and where to watch the winning performances will be shared soon.
