A retired officer of the Namibian Defence Force (NDF), Lieutenant Colonel Natangwe Kadhingula, was found dead at his residence in Okahandja on Wednesday in what police suspect to be a case of suicide.
Chief Inspector Paulus Shapaka, Head of Police Operations in the region, confirmed the incident, saying the 65-year-old was discovered with a gunshot wound to the head at his home located on 8th Avenue.
According to police, no suicide note was left behind, and the motive behind the suspected suicide remains unclear at this stage. Investigations are ongoing
