
Senior government officials, including the Khomas Governor and executives from the City of Windhoek and the National Housing Enterprise (NHE), joined Urban and Rural Development Minister James Sankwasa on Monday for an inspection of the Otjomuise Mass Housing Development Programme (MHDP).
During the visit, Minister Sankwasa directed the contractor to ensure that all partially completed houses under the project are finished by 30 November 2025. He stressed the urgency of delivering on the housing initiative, highlighting its importance in addressing the country’s pressing housing needs.

The inspection team also included the ministry’s Executive Director and City of Windhoek councillors, who assessed progress and challenges facing the development.
