The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested three individuals in connection with alleged irregularities surrounding the Zambezi Waterfront Project.
According to the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), the suspects include two officials from the Zambezi Regional Council and a local business personality. The ACC has not disclosed their identities at this stage, citing ongoing investigations.
The trio is expected to appear in court toda.
The arrests come after months of scrutiny over the multi-million-dollar Zambezi Waterfront Project, which has long been under the spotlight for allegations of mismanagement and misuse of public funds.
Further details are expected to be released as the investigation progresses.
