Nigeria’s online community is mourning the tragic death of popular TikTok personality ‘Disturbing’, who died after suffering a seizure during a live broadcast at his home in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

The incident, which took place on Thursday, drew widespread attention after disturbing footage surfaced online, showing the moment the content creator appeared disoriented before suddenly collapsing. The video quickly went viral, sparking shock and concern across social media platforms.

In addition to his online presence, ‘Disturbing’ was also known as a local cobbler and musician. He rose to further recognition through his vocal support of the ‘Justice for Mohbad’ movement, gaining respect and admiration from his followers.

In a tearful message shared on TikTok, his wife, Omowunmi, recounted the final moments leading up to his collapse. “Yesterday morning, my husband was on TikTok live while I cooked his food. Suddenly, he had a seizure, fell, and hit his head on a stone. Blood was coming out of his head. A young boy and some neighbours saw him, thought he had fainted, and poured water on him. They called me from the kitchen,” she said.

He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where medical staff placed him on oxygen. Sadly, he was pronounced dead the following morning, on Friday.

Omowunmi also confirmed that this was not his first seizure. “The last time he had a seizure was in February. It is purely a medical issue,” she added.

His unexpected passing has left a void in the TikTok community, where he was cherished for his creativity, humor, and advocacy. Tributes continue to pour in online as fans, friends, and fellow creators remember his impact.
