
Authorities in the Omusati Region have launched an investigation into the heartbreaking death of a 14-month-old girl at Uukuvu village, Okahao constituency. The incident, which has left the community in shock, occurred when the toddler was allegedly attacked by her five-year-old cousin.
According to police reports, the young child sustained fatal injuries after being struck several times on the head with pieces of broken bricks.
Omusati police spokesperson confirmed that investigations are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the tragedy. “This is a deeply disturbing case involving children, and we are treating it with the utmost sensitivity,” the spokesperson said.
