
Namibian police have arrested two men in connection with the rape and murder of 38-year-old Keolebogile Paulino, a citizen of Botswana, who was attacked while visiting the Mukwe Constituency in May.The suspects, Bernard Thindhimba Mukoya (24) and Moses Mukerenge (22), were taken into custody on Monday, 16 June 2025.
Police say Paulino was sexually assaulted and fatally beaten with a wooden stick.Her stolen cellphone was recovered during the investigation, which led to the suspects’ arrest.The pair appeared in the Rundu Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday before Magistrate Selma Shiiga.
They have been charged with rape and murder. Bail was denied, and the matter was postponed to 12 September 2025 to allow for further investigations.
