
Two men were arrested this week in connection with a shoplifting incident at Dunes Mall in Walvis Bay, where items valued at N$9,000 were allegedly stolen.
According to the Namibian Police, the suspects, identified as 37-year-old Abraham Erastus and Immanuel Shilunga, are accused of stealing merchandise from several stores, including OTB Sport, Trophy Shop, Markhams, and Pep, on Monday.
The duo appeared before the Walvis Bay Magistrate’s Court shortly after their arrest. Their case has been postponed to 20 January 2026 for further investigation.
Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
