In Mondesa, Swakopmund, the body of a man, yet to be identified, was discovered with multiple stab wounds amidst heaps of sand along a pathway. The grim find was made by a member of the public in an open area behind Saamstan Location near Mondesa Cemetery.
Police reports indicate that the victim’s body bore multiple stab wounds, and a blood-stained stone was recovered at the scene, believed to have been the weapon used in the assault. As of now, the identity of the perpetrators remains unknown.
Further investigations revealed that the deceased was last seen alive by a security guard at Hero Bar on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 9:00 PM until the bar closed at 1:30 AM. He was dressed in light grey jeans and a black pullover at the time of his last sighting.
