
The IUM Nkurenkuru Campus came alive yesterday as it launched its annual cultural festival, drawing students and community members to celebrate Namibia’s rich cultural heritage. The festival featured vibrant performances, traditional dances, and a lively display of local customs.
After a day filled with talent and creativity, the results of the cultural competitions were announced:
- 5th place: Ovambo Cultural Group
- 4th place: Vakwangali Cultural Group
- 3rd place: Hambukushu Cultural Group & Chokwe & Nyemba Cultural Group – N$750 each
- 2nd place: Zambezi Cultural Group – N$2,500
- 1st place: Vamanyo Cultural Group – N$5,000
This year’s edition of the festival stood out for its high level of organization and diverse entertainment program, which included singing competitions, a Gospel Night, and the much-anticipated Miss IUM 2025 beauty pageant, where the campus will crown its new queen.
